For this transformation, our client came to us with a drab room and a desire for something moody and romantic. We were able to use the clients existing furnishings including a stunning hand painted light blue dresser as our inspiration. We deciding on 3/4 wainscoting painted a dark blue matching the ceiling. We then used a fun and complimentary wallpaper for the remaining wall space. We stained the existing furniture a dark walnut from the washed out white. Created our own art by picking out contrasting frames and painting the picture mats a deep purple.

Using the dresser as our inspiration, we used different botanicals throughout the room. In the end, we deciding on beautiful mustard color bedding and curtains. With not much time and a small budget, we delivered our client more than they envisioned.
